Potential vs Kinetic Energy

Where in the mousetrap is the potential energy? Where is the kinetic? in your journal you will have to tell me which energy is where and how is it different in a distance and speed car? you need to name your car..... what is yours???? ( answer both ? for full credit on the blog)

The potential energy is in the mousetrap's lever when it is about to be released. The kinetic energy is in the wheels when they are moving. The name of our car is Alauranda.

Kinetic energy is the mouse trap "trapper" swinging from the starting position to the ending position, and in the wheels when they turn. Potential energy is stored in the "trapper" when it is being held before it is launched.

the potential energy in the mouse trap car is in the trap itself when it is in the "ready" position before it is relseased. the kinetic energy is in the trap when it is relseased, then transfred to the wheels that move. the name of our car is starpower :]

Potential energy is energy that is stored. Kinetic is the energy of motion. In the car, the potential energy is when the lever is held back, and kinetic is when it is let go and the wheels are moving. The potential energy is turned into kinetic energy when this happens.

kinetic energy happens when the trapper swings forward and is in motion(and is about to break the mouses neck). potential energy is stored before the trapper is released but is still pulled back. the name of our car is Victor.

In the car, the potentiol energy is when the spring is wound up, about to be released. The Kinetic energy is after it is released and the car is moving.

The potential energy is in the mousetrap lever right before it is released. Kinetic enegy is after the lever has been fully realsed and when the wheels are moving. The name of our car is Billy-Gilbert Hildalgo. It is a distance car.

In the mousetrap, the potential energy is in the spring part when the snapper is pulled back. The kinetic energy is in the motion of the snapper when it is released after being pulled back.
